Four decisions to make before paying an advance
Coordinate the ceremony with Jaimala
Decide whether the aarti should take place before Jaimala, during guest welcome, or after the main ritual. Confirm the final run-of-show with the family and event planner.
Plan the stage and lamp safety
Confirm permission for traditional lamps with the venue. Keep a clear, stable area away from fabric drapes, crowds and electrical cables; arrange suitable fire precautions as directed by venue staff.
Agree who supplies each item
Get the final package inclusions in writing. Venue furniture, sound, flowers, travel, lodging and ritual items can be different from one booking to another.
